At the age of 13, she became a member of the Kettering District and Youth Theatre Group, who produced panto’s at the McKinley Theatre in Kettering. Most of her time with them was spent in chorus, however, she did audition and secure the part of the witch in Sleeping Beauty… boooooooo!

After leaving the theatre group at the age of 18 and having finished school, Lisa then concentrated on full time employment until she returned to dancing with Marye Simmons, 8 years later.
